Wings Finish 3rd in State

After a fantastic season, Coach Queenan's Wings team finished in third place in the SAY State Tournament on November 22.

Falling in the semifinal to the eventual champion, the short-sided Wings regrouped for the third place game, facing a rematch of the SAY North tournament final.

Trailing in the 4th quarter, the team tied the game to get to extra time, and held on into the penalties shootout, where they won, 3-2.

Congratulations to the coaches, players and families for such an excellent season representing GSSA at the highest level!
